Which versions sell, and what to look at twice.
The 595 does the volume, in Turismo and Competizione trim and a long run of special editions. The 695 sits above it, and values for the rarer limited runs hold up far better than the standard cars. The 124 Spider is the odd one out, based on the Mazda MX-5 and sold in much smaller numbers.
Buying one comes down to condition and honesty. Corrosion around the rear arches and sills is worth checking on older cars, and the MOT advisory list will usually tell you before the seller does. Settle the write-off and finance questions before you start arguing about price.
