What is actually selling, and what to look at twice.
The Atto 3 was the first BYD sold here in volume and it is now the most common used one. The Dolphin sits below it as a smaller hatchback, while the Seal is the saloon that gets compared with the Model 3. Prices fell quickly from list, so the used figures look tempting.
That fall is the thing to understand. A car that dropped hard against its original price is exactly the kind that leaves a seller with more finance outstanding than the sale will cover. Confirm the agreement is settled before you hand anything over, and ask who the previous keepers were.
