Does a Suzuki history check show outstanding finance?
Yes. The report flags active hire purchase, PCP and conditional sale agreements recorded against the vehicle. If a Swift or Vitara still has money owed on it, the lender keeps an interest in the car until the balance is cleared, and that interest survives a private sale. Ask the seller for a written settlement figure.
How do I check a Suzuki Jimny is not stolen?
Run the registration through the report and read the police stolen marker, which comes from the national register. Then check the VIN on the car itself, usually on the scuttle or the door aperture, against the last five characters on the report and the full VIN on the V5C. A cloned Jimny will pass the plate test and fail the VIN test.
Will the report show if a Suzuki has been clocked?
